PR Manager

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVES - Proactively and creatively develop & execute seasonal & integrated strategies that include all business channels: retail, wholesale, VIP, social and digital and out of the box PR Communications. - Contribute to and implement all PR activity directives to the above-mentioned markets from NYC Headquarters. - Distribute all communications material and press releases to all media. - Manage interview requests, drafting responses where necessary, selecting suitable imagery to accompany each interview / feature and seeking press approval where necessary on images. - Establish strong press and commercial media relationships and build international connections across all targeted Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish media - Understand the importance of innovative digital communications, tech engagement, social media and influencer seeding within the changing media landscape. Initiate, nurture and reinforce a broad network of industry relationships for future innovative collaborations. - Report on all key fashion trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior management on how to further maximise results for the business. - Proactively pitch editorial and marketing content on and off line to relevant outlets across consumer, trade and national media. - Report directly into the PR Director, participate in team communication, brainstorming to support the growth of the business in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania and Baltic countries. - Manage the PR aspect of any potential crisis situation and give advice where necessary. - Assist with the execution of event activity, to drive brand awareness and value. - Set up and attend meetings with journalists/editors keeping them informed of upcoming & relevant projects / issues and maintaining relationships. - Implement and maintain press contacts database – ensuring this is kept up to date. - Work closely with EMEA Brand Marketing, Digital Comms, Retail Marketing, Wholesale Marketing and Events teams on EMEA initiatives to increase brand awareness within Germany, Switzerland and Austria - Support and manage working relationships with other EMEA departments to enable the best results are secured for the company and the Communications departments. - Support seasonal show planning and other press and digital communications related activities: Press conferences, scheduled local interviews and personal appearances. - Plan and support seasonal press days to ensure all media and influencers are fully informed of the seasonal message. - Oversee editorial placements within all the markets.
