Retail Project Manager

The Retail Project Manager is responsible for the whole new opening projects according to the expansion plan of the business and manages the preventive and corrective maintenance in order to assure the proper day-by-day stores' management and operation. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY/KEY TASKS NEW OPENINGS / RENEWALS Manage the whole new opening projects, starting from the location inspection up to the effective opening of the store. Site and store inspection, cadastral documents analysis, check on violations/concessions/authorizations. Coordinate with mall management or landlords to review mall/building procedures and manage the delivery schedule for opening order of goods in accordance with site specifications. Coordinate with other departments to promote timely store openings with minimal operations disruptions and inform the management about the trend of each opening. Directly monitor the construction site and check on the progress of the work. Identify the proper contractors (plasterboard, electrical system air conditioning system, etc.). Monitor expenses VS budget. DAILY STORE MANAGEMENT Guarantee the proper day-by-day stores' management and operation. Ensure corporate policy and procedures are applied consistently throughout our locations. Monitor technical specifications and regulatory standards' evolution in the domain and maintain a specialized technical documentation. Primary point of contact to ensure emergencies are managed and solved in a timely manner and minimize disruption to business also during weekends & holidays. Manage the process for closures of existing stores. MAINTENANCE Prepare preliminary studies and establish descriptions of work to be carried out and also the financial estimate. Steer, monitor and facilitate store maintenance operations. Plan, organize and check on the progress of the work. Verify the respect of security dispositions during interventions, coordinate timely repairs in the interest of health and safety and to maintain store aesthetics. Perform site review of P.O.S. system, warranty repair & maintenance procedures, H.V.A.C. unit, lighting, and loss prevention processes and opportunities. Update files, constructions to perform and follow-up interventions. Monitor providers/suppliers for efficiency, timely response and cost effectiveness.
